Founded by designer and sculptor Gaurav Nanda in 2010, Bend Goods designs functional products intended for use in the home or in public spaces. Bend's work is strongly influenced by Nanda's trips to Palm Springs, California where he gained an appreciation for Mid-Century Modern architecture, lifestyle, and design.

Louis Poulsen is a Danish lighting manufacturer founded in the late 1870s and named after Louis Poulsen. Its headquarters is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and today, it has become well-known for its signature PH-lamps by Danish designer Poul Henningsen which debuted in 1926 and are still manufactured to this day. Besides Henningsen, Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen also famously worked with Louis Poulsen.

Pierre Lissoni's work began to gain prominence after he began working for the Italian architecture firm Boffi in the 1980s as its Designer and Art Director. Following his success with the firm, Lissoni branched out on his own and launched Lissoni Associates in 1986. With a string of continued success, Lissoni was commissioned to work on various notable projects including the 2009 renovation of the Teatro Nazionale in Milan and he will also be working on the upcoming Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach.

The fundraiser was intended to support the La Source association which focuses on helping children to express themselves by using art and its various mediums. The Wire Chair was uniquely reimagined by over fifty artists that each put a creative spin on the chair, all of which were donated by Switzerland-based furniture manufacturer Vitra.
