Casa Guatemala to Announce the Recruitment of Volunteers for the Summer & Fall Semesters of the School Year, June to October
Casa Guatemala School and Home in Rio Dulce Guatemala is looking for long term volunteers who have a heart to take care of children who have been abused, abandoned, malnourished or living in abject poverty. The volunteers will be providing day-to-day care and supervision of the children who live onsite as well as in the school. The volunteers must be at least 24 years old and will be required to work directly with the children who are now over 250 in number. Anyone can volunteer for the various positions. Some volunteers will work as house supervisors, classroom teachers, or activity coordinators. There are also positions for doctors and nurses to work in the clinic (which is also available to area villages),for whatever amount of time they can provide.
