Large scale production is a major focus of Celina Tent, Inc., including the ability to take on high volume orders and meet contract obligations in a timely manner. Shelter manufacturing requires significant production square footage, both to accommodate the machinery and production associates to produce the items and for extra staging and storage areas for the product once it's been finished before it's been inspected and packaged. To facilitate this amount of manufacturing, Celina Tent, Inc. has acquired new production space in St. Marys, Ohio.

Celina Tent, Inc. is growing its operations to St. Marys, Ohio. The new expansion of production space will create jobs as additional employees are required for assembling the product lines that will be moved into the space. The newly occupied space is located in the building that was previously Kmart along US-33 in St. Marys, Ohio. "We are very excited about this new expansion," said Celina Tent, Inc. Vice President, Janice Grieshop. "Opening a work space in St. Marys will let us hire from a wider locality, spreading the availability of jobs further than we could before with just our main plant in Celina, Ohio."

Celina welcomed visitors from Washington on Wednesday, April 4th as the head of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Small Business Administration (SBA) stopped to tour their manufacturing campus. Concerns of local owners and industry leaders were the main focus of the RV tour, which travelled through Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Celina has finished the new 100,000 square foot Distribution Center on their 58 acre campus in Celina, Ohio. This consolidates all of their manufacturing, kitting, and shipping into one area and will allow for sweeping changes in the efficiency and easy with which business can be handled.

Celina™ has been working on expanding its market base, selling to local businesses, larger corporations, foreign governments and distant customers, for many years. Now, they're opening a distribution center in the UK with the help of a newly awarded Ohio IMAGE (International Market Access Grant for Exporters) Grant through the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP). This grant will help by covering some costs associated with expanding distribution and marketing of Celina's main line of products.

Celina Tent Inc., a world leader in the tent and fabric shelter systems, is working in tandem with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to provide aid for Syrian refugees. Over the next few weeks, 1.9 million square feet of tarps will be manufactured and shipped to locales in need of temporary walls, ground cover, and many other relief applications. With over 82,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Celina's recent building expansion allows us to take on large-scale, quick-turnaround projects better than most other facilities.
