The win was worth $10,000 for the pilot of the Casey's General Stores/Champion Racing Oil/FVP Brian Brown Racing No. 21. Brown became the 15th different winner of the season for the World of Outlaws.

Courtney, the runaway series point leader who is sponsored by Champion racing Oil, took command of the 30-lap feature when pole sitter and race-long leader Justin Grant lost a right-rear tire on the 20th revolution of the high-banked, quarter-mile oval.

"We were pretty good there all weekend or for the night we got to race," Brown said. "In the feature the track was rough with slick spots and rough spots. It was a difficult track. We did the best we could and salvaged what we could. We were third overall, really the high-point guy who didn't win. That put us in a good spot to start in the first three rows to race for $100,000 on Saturday".

Rudolph fought back challenges from some of the best Super DIRTcar Series drivers to ever get behind the wheel of a big-block modified. Billy Decker, Stewart Friesen and Max McLaughlin took turns trying to ground the high-flying Ransomville racer, but all efforts fell short.

Courtney kept pace with Thomas, following him for 92 straight laps until making the winning move on a restart that made all the difference, one that came with a bit of advice courtesy of a voice from above.

Courtney, the defending USAC national sprint car champion, threw a massive turn-one slide job on early leader Kevin Thomas Jr. to take command of the race on the seventh round and never looked back.
