Reports from the small business sector project a steady annual growth rate of approximately 5 percent in the residential cleaning service industry over the coming years, prompting a number of entrepreneurs to enter this field. The Association of Residential Cleaning Services International has established a position at the front lines of this surge as the leading resource for companies in this genre for more than a decade. According to a survey released by the Center for American Progress, nearly half of all families with children were headed by two working parents, and over 25% were headed by a single parent.
