Gary Barbera and His BarberaCares Team were at Strawberry Mansion Neighborhood Action Center for their Annual Turkey Giveaway distributing 250 turkeys to the wonderful and warm folks in the Strawberry Mansion Community.

Community Relations Police Officer of the 5th District Police Station Maurice Scott who has been serving the district for 7 years, 2 years as the Community Relations Officer and P/O Derrill Davis contacted the BarberaCares Program because of their mutual perpetual commitment to the Roxborough YMCA. Police Officer Scott knew that the BarberaCares Program would help their efforts in funding for their Red Carpet Community Thanksgiving Meal.

The American Association for Cancer Research is committed to cancer research, administering grants, and finding cures for all types of cancers. Gary Barbera's on the Boulevard and their Barbera Cares Programs "Gary Barbera Coats for Kids" visited 5 locations and gave out over 1,000 coats this month. The Barbera Cares is focused on improving the lives of those throughout the Philadelphia region. The Barbera Cares Program is delighted to provide volunteer hours and have already purchased over 1,000 warm winter coats to distribute to local Philadelphia School District grade schools as thoughtfully chosen by the office of PA State Representative Jared Solomon.
