With a goal of $30,000 the makers of the PriSecu, a personal GPS tracker, have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. The creators of the self-described smallest private security device in the world, GetIT Marketing based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, have successfully put their focus toward those who need to keep tabs on loved ones. “People are dealing with loved ones suffering from ailments that cause memory to be affected and where wandering is of concern. Others have small children that need not go beyond a preset radius area. Our device helps with these types of concerns.” said Danny Gan, CEO of GetIT Marketing. The PriSecu works in correlation with a Smartphone app or Goole Maps to accurately pinpoint the exact location of tracked individuals. Measuring 60 mm x 47 mm x 17 mm the advanced GPS tracking technology uses a GPRS/GSM network to instantly communicate with the device user.
