According to a recent survey conducted by Prudential Financial, 44% of those surveyed said they planned to never invest in stocks again, citing heavy losses in the past as a reason for pulling out of the market. Never, says Keith Baxter of Trader News and Reviews, an online review site of stock, options and commodity trading systems and services, is bit long.

According to recent statistics from the Center For Disease Control, more than 60 percent of Americans are either overweight or obese. A vast majority of these individuals has participated in numerous weight loss programs; however, 87 percent of those falling into this category report becoming discouraged after reaching a weight loss plateau.

Marketdata estimates the weight loss market in America will grow 4.5% in 2013 to a total value of $66.5 billion. This estimate is based on consumer discretionary income increasing, higher enrollments in weight loss programs and new diet drugs entering the market. Heavy advertising plays a role in this estimated increase also and Keith Baxter of Gibble LLC questions whether this increase will actually be of benefit.
