Hotmail was founded by Jack Smith and Sabeer Bhatia in 1996 as the first ever site that offers webmail services. The site was later acquired in 1997 by Microsoft at an estimated $400 million and was launched as MSN Hotmail. It was made a part of Windows Live range of products and later rebranded as Windows Live Hotmail. Hotmail is now replaced with Outlook.com along with interesting features such as integration with Skype, People, Calendar, OneDrive and unlimited storage.
