Spurred on by the popularity of TV cooking shows, people’s interest in cooking at home and entertaining is at an all-time high. While many people fancy themselves as professional chefs, there comes a time when they discover that what they learnt from TV shows and cookbooks is not enough for taking them to the level they would like to be. Many people would therefore look for cooking classes where they could learn food preparation techniques. With a large and growing number of cooking schools, potential students may be flooded by overwhelming information. They may find it difficult to find qualified cooking tutors.
