Sinusitis can be painful and even debilitating when chronic, and medical professionals are often frustrated by the lack of effective treatment options. Too often patients are left suffering when the sinuses do not respond to traditional medication based approaches, but sinuplasty is an invasive and potentially dangerous procedure. Thankfully, pioneers like Dr Ronald A Krueger have developed a new method known as balloon sinuplasty inspired by angioplasty, which uses a balloon to dilate closed up arteries in the heart. Dr. Krueger was identified as one of 13 research sites in 2012 for Balloon Sinuplasty
