Women Concealed Carry Permit Holders Surge; Lady in Lead Fills Need for Clothing
Women are the fastest growing segment of new gun owners and concealed carry permit holders; in fact, The Washington Times reports the number of female concealed weapons permit owners has increased more than 200 percent since 2007. This figure doesn't account for ownership in the eight states in which permits are not required. New communities supporting this movement are springing up. One such community, Lady in Lead, has a burgeoning following on Facebook numbering in excess of 17,000 and a website geared toward like-minded individuals with news, education, and products.
