Lighthouse Christian School and Sandals Foundation Make Substantial Furniture Donation to Jamaica's Mount Airy School
The Lighthouse Christian School (LCS) of Pompano Beach, a K-8 Christian school, announced today that it teamed with the Sandals Foundation, the non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International (SRI), to donate 250 desks and chairs to the Mount Airy Primary and Infant School in Westmoreland, Jamaica. Mount Airy has over 600 students in grades K-6. The donation, valued at over $35,000, is part of a broader program of cooperation between the two schools.
Lighthouse Christian School Reports Record Enrollment for 2015-2016
The Lighthouse Christian School (LCS) of Pompano Beach, a K-8 Christian school that emphasizes academic excellence and personal achievement, announced today that it has experienced record-setting enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year. Nearly all classes are filled to capacity. The growth in the student body is attributable to the school's implementation of advanced educational methods as well as innovative programs for arts, sports and technology.
