A Human-Powered Ocean Race to Alaska Launches Kickstarter Campaign
Andrew Akehurst is a British Columbia based Canadian adventurer and entrepreneur, who proudly owns a small woodworking/shipwright business called Little Island Woodworks. He loves to explore, and he has therefore decided to embark upon a journey like no other. To make his dream of sailing to Alaska and entering into an ocean race, he is building a 22-foot rowing sailboat and he is seeking help via Kickstarter's crowdfunding platform to build that boat.
