According to a report released earlier this year by Statista, the hair removal industry reached an estimated $642 million dollars in 2013, depicting a gradual increase in the United Kingdom over a three-year period. Though these figures include shaving, laser technology, depilatory creams and other common methods of eliminating unwanted hair, the epilator appears to have steadily made headway in popularity rankings.
