I don’t know if you have ever lived in a house or dwelling on or near a waterfront homes in lake of the woods virginia. If you have, then you know what I am about to say is so true. If you have not, let me arouse all of your senses! There is simply no better time to live on the water than the fall of the year. The smells, the sounds, the feel of the crispness in the air and the sights that come along only during this time of year are unforgettable and almost addicting to the senses. It’s not one specific thing that that is so alluring but many past experiences come to memory. It might be a day on the water boating, sailing, fishing, swimming lessons at lake of the woods or just lounging waterside. It may be the distinct smell of fallen leaves on the dew laden ground. Or possibly the sound of lakeside living through the chirping of numerous species of birds and animals. Whatever the attraction and memory, it is simply unforgettable.
