Pine Valley Community Village is excited to announce their 5-Star designation. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) uses a system to compare nursing homes and reports these comparisons on thier Nursing Home Compare public reporting site. According to CMS.gov, "It includes a set of quality ratings for each nursing home that participates in Medicare or Medicaid. The ratings take the form of several "star" ratings for each nursing home. The primary goal of this rating system is to provide residents and their families with an easy way to understand assessment of nursing home quality, making meaningful distinctions between high and low performing nursing homes." The ratings are given in three areas:

Pine Valley Community Village is excited to share their newest service, assisted living, with the community. They've rescheduled their open houses and are inviting the public to come in and see the beautiful new senior living spaces. Attendees will enjoy music, prize drawings, food and refreshments. Pine Valley is also hosting three private events, a ribbon cutting, a private party for residents and families, and a Medical Professionals tour.

Pine Valley Community Village is changing the dates of their open house and ribbon cutting. We're so excited about sharing our new assisted living services and our new construction for rehab/therapy and skilled nursing, that we planned our event as early as possible. Now, because we want to have everything in place before presenting it to the community, we're changing the dates.

Pine Valley Community Village, established in the 1800's, has evolved over time to meet the needs of a growing and changing population. Their latest makeover includes the addition of an assisted living home, for people who need extra help with their daily activities. Pine Valley not only expanded their services, but built an all new skilled nursing center and improved their inpatient/outpatient therapy area.
