Rakuon, Inc. is a Kyoto based Japanese apparel company that is known worldwide for making the globally popular Japanese traditional costume of Kimono. The company now aims to hold a kimono contest, which will basically combine the modern fashion design from New York and the traditional techniques used in Nishijin-Kyoto. Moreover, the company is planning to hold this kimono contest in New York with FIT in 2019.
