With more than 30,000 pallets passing through RLS Logistics' LTL cross dock on a monthly basis, and demand rising, RLS has increased the size of their cross dock from 45,000 square feet to 70,000 square feet at their Newfield, NJ location.
With energy consumption being the second highest expense of a typical cold storage facility, the reduction of waste and the improvement in efficiency is one of RLS Logistics' primary goals. To reduce usage and keep services priced competitively, RLS has invested in a number of "green initiatives."
RLS Logistics is excited to announce their newly constructed facility that is due to open in Summer of 2018. This new state of the art cold storage warehouse near Philadelphia Ports, I-295 and NJ Turnpike is ideal for distribution to major markets in the northeast.
RLS Logistics, a third party logistics company, has reached an exciting milestone as the company prepares to celebrate their 50th year anniversary. Originally founded as R. Leo & Son Mushroom Farm in 1968, RLS has transformed itself into one of the leading cold chain logistics providers in the Northeast. The 3rd generation of the Leo family now run the company.
