The housing industry in Saudi Arabia has seen a remarkable growth over the past years due to high population growth and reduced family sizes. Moreover, the continued migration to the Kingdom, mainly to three main regions i.e. Makkah, Riyadh and Eastern Province, has also spruced up demand for new houses in the country. According to a new report by RNCOS, “Saudi Arabia Housing Sector Outlook to 2017”, the kingdom’s increasing GDP, rising personal income and rising urbanization, which all have a direct impact on the housing market, are set to increase the demand for the housing units in the coming years.
