Sertis Supports First Local Hack Day in Thailand, the Single Largest Day of Student Hacking in the World
Local Hack Day is the single largest day of student hacking in the world, held at 130 locations around the world. This first ever Local Hack Day in Thailand was held on the 3rd of December 2016. Sertis, a leading data science and big data consulting firm, was one of the key sponsors of the event. Student teams competed in a mini-hackathon that lasted for 12 hours. More than 50 people attended the event. Sertis software engineering team was a guest speaker and gave a talk on the topic of 'Why do we code'. The two-winning teams were 'Touch You' and 'Pizza Developer.'
