The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Davidson as evidenced by the November launch of Solis Escapes, LLC by Davidson NC resident, Julie C. Harris. Specializing in authentic, cultural travel experiences to Central and South America, and the Caribbean, Solis Escapes, LLC primary focus will be couples, and familial, multi-generational travelers. “My goal is for travelers to return with an appreciation and understanding of both the scenic and cultural highlights of these beautiful destinations and countries”. Fluent in French and Spanish, Julie will provide a unique, value added benefit of language lessons for her clients prior to their departures. Although familiar with, and capable of reserving, larger hotel and cruise line accommodations, Solis Escapes concentrates on providing more intimate, boutique style hotels and cruise line recommendations.
