Dion von Moltke, completing his first full season in the Daytona Prototype class, and rising star Matt Bell are looking to cap off a strong Rolex Car Series season this weekend at the Utah 500 at Miller Motorsports Park. Dion and Matt will be racing in the #77 McDonalds/South African Airways/PR Newswire Doran Racing Ford Dallara. The duo teamed up for the first time in July at the NJMP 250 and finished sixth at that race. Bell, who had never raced before in a DP, earned the coveted Jim Trueman Award at that race as Dion had done earlier in the season. The weekend race also saw the return of the rebuilt No. 198 RSR-Motorsports Mini Cooper S. Driving with Trinkler was RSR team owner Randall Smalley. With the rebuilt Mini Cooper, Trinkler led RSR Motorsports to victory, his second in the series and Smalley’s first.
