Miami inshore fishing during the spring season is a tremendous amount of fun and participants will always come across lots of different fish during their trip. The Miami International Boat Show brings together all that has to do with the fascinating world of boating, from all-new gear for sailers to powerful new engines, and of course, the latest vessels that will eventually make their way across the seas. There are more than 1,000 boats being showcased at the 2018 show and visitors will be able to view hundreds of boats in-water, all of which will sit alongside the improved and extended docks designed to allow pedestrians to get around easier. For those that like to sail, there will be a bigger number of on-water boat training courses at the show.

The Miami International Boat Show brings together any and everything that has to do with boating, from useful gear to the latest engines, and of course the latest vessels sailing the seas. In fact, there are more than 1,000 boats expected at this year's event and visitors will also find over 150 boats in-water, all of which can be found along the newly expanded docks. For avid seafarers, there will be a greater number of on-water boat training courses and they'll also be able to participate in more than 150 sea trails.

Two 58-foot sport fisherman boats make up the THERAPY-IV, both designed and outfitted to go toe-to-toe with South Florida's sea dwellers. Some of the features of the boats include huge outriggers, a flying bridge, as well as two fighting chairs. Moving to the cockpit fishing area, guests can expect to see more fighting chairs plus two bait tanks for those in the mood for some live bait fishing experiences. The two THERAPY-IV boats have air-conditioning and feature massive 450 hp Cummins diesel engines.

For those unfamiliar with THERAPY-IV, the fleet is comprised of two 58-foot sport fisherman boats ready to take on South Florida's big game fish. Boat features include large outriggers, a flying bridge, plus two fighting chairs. Over in the cockpit fishing area, guests will find additional fighting chairs in addition to pair of bait tanks for those looking for some live bait fishing thrills. Both boats are air-conditioned and boast mighty 450 hp Cummins diesel engines.

For those that are new to the deep sea fishing experience, THERAPY-IV provides the option of a half-day charter. These charters are the perfect introduction as they last only four hours which allows a sufficient amount of time for first time participants to get a feel for the basics. During this time, participants will catch plenty of fish as they learn the ropes. Customers can choose from a morning or afternoon trip.

Captain Stan Saffan developed his love for fishing at the young age of seven when he would go out on the water with his father and sibling. The group would fish on drift-fishing boats as well as fishing piers in the city of Miami, Florida. Saffan eventually worked as a deckhand on all-day drift-fishing boats before becoming a weekend first mate at just fifteen years old. Saffan continued to work weekends, holidays and during the summer, becoming highly skilled in fishing and eventually pursuing it as a career.
