Cynthia Tom, a 58 year old local artist is the founder and organizer of "A Place of Her Own." Cynthia is a cultural and community curator of art work specific to Asian Americans in Northern California. She plays a crucial role in organizing and assisting with the Asian American Women Artists Association. Through the work she has done with Triad Of Health Family Healing Center and Dr. IlyaSkolnikoff, she has been able to get off of her antidepressants, asthma medications, Ambien, allergy medication and prevent the need for her cPap machine for sleeping.
