A pulse transformer is a device that manages voltages and currents in the form of the pulse. It is widely used in power circuits as an isolating transformer to isolate source and load. It is also used in antenna connections, power distribution, LAN and ethernet networks, radar, digital computers, television, etc. The prime function of the pulse transformer is changing the amplitude of voltage pulse, inverting the polarity of the pulse, and coupling different stages of pulse amplifier.
