Incorporated in 1924, Providence Baptist Church is one of the oldest churches in the Greater Cleveland Area.Rev. Rodney is only the fourth senior Pastor to lead this historic church in the Greater Cleveland Area. Serving the communities of Mt. Pleasant and also the City of Euclid Providence Providence Baptist Church provides Christian education and outreach, economic education programming, counseling and other services to the people in the Greater Cleveland Area and Beyond. For the past 15 years Providence has held in person worship and programming at two locations: The main campus located at 12712 Kinsman Avenue in the City of Cleveland and at the Providence Life Development Center in the City of Euclid. The novel Coronavirus has dictated a temporary change in how worship services, outreach, ministry operations and fellowship are accomplished. While Providence has streamed live worship services over the Internet since 2013, this channel has become the sole vehicle for Sunday worship since April of 2019.
