Purple Wishing Gate.com, the online gift store of personalized blessings, began in 2004 with a dream. Founder, Barbara D. MacAdam dreamed of her 12-year-old daughter, Bonnie Rose, who had passed away from cancer, standing behind a purple gate in a heavenly garden. As people came up to the gate, Bonnie listened to their wishes and turned them into prayers, so God could keep them in His care. Inspired by her dream, Barbara writes and paints the backgrounds for her personalized blessings that people of all faiths can give as gifts to celebrate life’s milestones and offer hope, love and encouragement on any occasion. In Bonnie’s memory, she donates 10% of all sales to help children with cancer.
