Tulum, an excavated city of Mexico, is a spectacular Mayan site. It faces the Caribbean Sea and was a well structured settlement. The city was first explored by a Spanish named Juan de Grizalva. The first description of Mayan ruins of Tulum was mentioned in a book by Stephen and Catherwood.
