We started this programme in 2007 in Hyderabad and these was a tremendous response. Successful implant dentistry is the result of a team effort.The best outcome is realized when each member of an implant team actively participates and interacts with other members. When the team works in seamless coordination ,synergy naturally occurs. SCHOOL OF DENTAL IMPLANTS(SDI) believes in and adopts this approach in the practice of implant dentistry.It has Been more than 30 years since the introduction of osseointegrated dental implants.Published Literature reveals that about 2,50,000 implants being placed every year.Indian implant statistics Shows that only 5,000 implants are placed every year .The number of trained implantologists in Our state especially Hyderabad is very less when compared to other cities like Mumbai,Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore etc. This data enlightens us about the great need for trained implantologists.
