Founded in 2018 by experts in cyber security and education. Secure Schools is a team of cyber security professionals and educationalists, with a passion for empowering schools with technology and keeping children and also young adults safe in education. Jill and also Paul founded Secure Schools to tackle the growing challenge of cyber security in UK schools and trusts. Their approach is to allow schools as well as trusts to take a risk-based approach to cyber security, with risks identified by the UK Government combined with their very own assessments, without introducing barriers to learning. Accelerated by the NCSC Cyber Accelerator Programme. We were selected for the 4th cohort of the UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Accelerator Programme. The Accelerator supports the growth of start-up cyber companies who aim to bring new 'better, faster and cheaper' security products to market. During this programme we ramped up our technical capabilities and launched our school cyber security application. We built the UK's very first cyber security management app dedicated for schools and also trusts. We've built an online portal and web application that provides schools with all the tools as well as training they require to operate a successful cyber security programme and also build cyber resilience. Our app has been built specifically for schools with role-based access to support school leaders with risk assessments, ICT teams (or IT service providers) with secure device configuration and staff training management for HR and also operations personnel.
