Starweaver

Starweaver Group (“Starweaver,” or the “Company”) is a provider of online and live technology and business skill professional development and training solutions whose mission is to transform technologists into world-class experts and business people into tech savvy leaders. Our principal products and services are delivered online through cloud-oriented training and development, focused on engaging live courses and a library of interactive, immersive recorded modules. Delegates can take our courses without costs when those courses stream live, and subscribe to full program content (including recordings, quizzes, exercises, labs, case studies, coding challenges, live discussion forums with instructors, final exams, course completion badges, and professional development units). Our principal target audience of subscribers are employees and consultants of employers who subscribe to our platform on a monthly and annual basis. By focusing on developing both technologists and business professionals we work to bridge the divide that often develops where technologies can become highly skilled but unaware of how to develop and implement appropriate business solutions, and business professionals unaware of the technological capabilities and realities that they must function with in order to grow their businesses successfully. The Company maintains a team of independent experts, consultants, subject matter experts and instructors with superior skills in the principal technologies, domains, skills and techniques where we focus our professional development efforts. Specifically, this includes data science, cloud computing, full stack development, agile techniques, and business skills and domains (particularly finance, securities, banking and insurance, where the company and its executives have significant existing content and expertise). Our live online training model, and recorded immersive training courses, short-cut the often arduous and non-scalable business process where companies source vendors over many months and years, only to use the content and services they provide on a minimal basis. As a result, the industry average for completion rates of online courses not delivered in the Company’s model are approximately 15-20%. That is, a mere 1/7th to 1/5th of courses purchased by companies online are ever completed. Our online training platform incorporates and will include a range of tools (some under development) to ensure that students access the content best for them, including career, role, and skill-oriented learning paths; career, role, and skill-oriented assessments; a broad online library of courses; an array of interactive exercises, quizzes, labs, and challenges; and, discussion groups and channels for students to access our experts directly, as well as a broad community of online professionals and peers. Our platform is moving toward becoming an expert system which is intended to drive further engagement between students and instructors, as well as other students, to drive the optimal learning and educational experience.
