The Writers Bureau was formed to provide a practical resource that would help people through their writing apprenticeship. The vision was to create a course that anyone – regardless of age or educational background – could benefit from. In January 1989 we opened our doors and quickly became popular with those seeking to learn the secrets of success in the publishing world. Since then we have expanded our course range and now offer a variety of specialist writing courses as well as our Comprehensive Creative Writing course. So, whatever your writing ambitions we should have a course for you. The Writers Bureau is part of a group of home-study colleges which includes Business Training and STT. Our original college was founded in 1931. Over the years we have successfully trained hundreds of thousands of students world-wide. We are specialists in open and distance learning with substantial knowledge and experience in this field.
