Experience

C.C. Dixon Moreno is a native Mississippian, with strong ties to the PineBelt. She is a 2014 graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While at Southern Miss, C.C. was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, the Southern Miss Political Society, and served as a Senator in the USM Student Government Association. After graduating from Southern Miss, C.C. attended The University of South Carolina School of Law on an academic scholarship. During her time at USC Law, C.C. was a member of several organizations, including the Student Bar Association, the Women in Law Society, and the USC Law Career Services Ambassador Program. She also was admitted to the USC Moot Court Bar, where she served as the Associate Justice for Publicity and Alumni Relations and competed in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition. During law school, C.C. also worked as an intern in the corporate counsel office of Honda of South Carolina. Upon graduation, she also received her Capstone in Real Estate Transactions. After graduating from South Carolina, C.C. returned home to Mississippi and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in September of 2018. She is licensed to practice law in all of the state and federal courts in Mississippi. C.C. is the founding member of The Moreno Law Group, PLLC, in Hattiesburg, which serves as a general practice firm. C.C. is married to Brent Moreno and they have a French Bulldog named Oakley.
