From 1972 to 1976, he worked as a police aide and corrections officer for the City of Albuquerque, while he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. After graduating from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1979, he served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Albuquerque through 1983. Bob then continued his law career at one of New Mexico’s largest civil defense law firms where he became a partner in 1985 and remained until 2001. While handling defense work he gained extensive litigation and trial experience in both state and federal courts handling all aspects of personal injury litigation, including wrongful death, car accidents, medical negligence, oil field accidents, dental malpractice and legal malpractice.
