Experience

BFA in illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1989. Kirsten first began as an Artist/designer in NYC as a carpet designer doing work for Elizabeth Eakins and the Plaza Hotel for Pacific Carpet Mills, textile designer with Print A Pattern in Manhattan's garment district, then formed own textile design company for children's wear. Returning to the Midwest with representation in New York, Kirsten continued textile design for a number of years before transitioning into faux painting and murals. After a decade of interiors, Kirsten focused on fine art by opening her own gallery in Bexley Ohio from 2004-2007. Kirsten is at the easel full time, with representation at Cleveland's Bonfoey Gallery, Gallery Seventeen in Greenville SC, Apropos showroom in NYC, and Guangmi Enterprises in Shanghai, China Exhibited at Contemporary Art Fair NYC, One of a Kind Show Chicago, and numerous solo shows.
