Her background includes opening a nationwide, telemedicine weight loss business, which was the first of its kind. After selling her successful business with a patient roster of 75,000 active patients, Julie went on to open OnlineUSADoctors.com, which is a full service, healthcare telemedicine business. Working with companies globally, patients receive healthcare consultations and services utilizing proprietary video software, online, secure medical records and various health assessments that can identify certain illness/disease that might otherwise go unnoticed. Julie’s experience also includes her working as chief executive officer for a family practice group in Washington. Starting with 10 physicians at one location, she was able to increase the size to 30 physicians and 12 physician assistants at 5 clinic locations and 3 urgent care clinics, while driving revenue and limiting liability. Full-time physician pay went from $125k to $350k during her tenure. She and her partner/medical director were recognized for their efforts to increase clinical quality care with 2 nationwide clinical quality awards and 1 state award within two years. Wright’s previous experience also includes her working as a chief executive officer for a 50 physician multi-specialty group with 11 locations near Seattle, Washington. This $100,000 million per year in gross billings entity was overhauled during her tenure with her implementing a new billing and software system as well as electronic medical records. Days in accounts receivable went from 74 to 28 days during her tenure and physician, partner pay increased by $100,000 each within the first year. She successfully opened over a dozen new clinic locations with a focus on patient care. She is known for leading organization growth and development. She is often called upon to present nationally and state-wide on topics, such as marketing, strategic planning and physician recruitment. Julie Wright holds an MBA with a major in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and is one year away from receiving her Doctorate in health and nutrition. Originally from San Diego, Wright moved to the state of Washington in 2002 and was happy to move back “home” to San Diego in 2012 along with her business.
