Blacknell's life is the stuff of legend, a spiritual roller coaster ride that took him round the world and back again. Director/Producer of the 2009 award winning documentary "Woke Up Alive" in Israel. Two years in Israel at Kibbutz Senir on the Northern Border with Lebanon/Syria during the Second Lebanon War. Former US Marine during the First Gulf War. Former nature conservation Policymaker for the administration of Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. Five years studying Jewish mysticism, working at Haleakala National Park on the island of Maui, now living in Vero Beach, Florida, making music and helping to restore the Everglades on a national level for the US government.
