Jude Treder-Wolff is a writer/performer, singer and creative arts psychotherapist, Applied Improviser, student of improvisation for performance, and storyteller who has been featured on the RISK! podcast with her stories "be here now" and "Winter storm" ON THE 2013 Christmas Day episode. Her solo storytelling show Crazytown: my first psychopath was selected for the 2013 Midtown International Theater Festival (along with a lot of other, much better shows) and the 2012 Chicago and San Francisco Fringe Festivals. Crazytown has been performed at The Pit-The Peoples Improv, Actors Theatre Workshop and Broadway Comedy Club in NYC as well as at events and venues around the country including New Jersey, if you can believe something like that. As a cabaret/comedy artist she performed solo shows at Danny's Skylight Room, Rose's Turn, Laurie Beachman Theater, among others in New York City, Vail-Leavitt Music Hall and The Charles B Wang Center at Stonybrook University on Long Island, and venues around the country, including Ovations in Houston, TX and Artspace in Santa Fe, NM. She speaks and presents on the topics of improvisation, creative thinking, storytelling and comedy for organizations and conferences around the country. Her blog Lives In Progress explores the role of creativity in 21st century life, and her company, Lifestage, Inc, designs and implements personal and professional development workshops that are creative, action-oriented and evidence-based. She is published in the International Journal of Arts & Psychotherapy, Music Therapy Perspectives, Psychodrama Network News, as well as numerous websites, and has been interviewed for articles that appeared in local and national publications and websites, including New York Newsday, Chicago Tribune,.
