History of All Star Driver Education Today, All Star is owned and operated by Tom’s son Brent Wall, the third generation of the family with credentials and expertise in the field of education service. Pop’s son Tom Wall grew up to be an educator, community activist, and as well as the founder of the T. Wall Foundation. Building on his father’s vision, Tom Wall founded All Star Driver Education in 1997. All Star represents the work of three generations of educators in the Wall family of southeast Michigan. In the early 1950s, William “Pop” Wall launched what is believed to be the first driver training program in Michigan and among the first in the United States. Building on his father’s vision, Tom Wall founded All Star Driver Education in 1997. Today, All Star is owned and operated by Tom’s son Brent Wall, the third generation of the family with credentials and expertise in the field of education service.With Brent’s leadership, All Star has grown from a small local proprietorship to a corporation with a proprietary curriculum, modern fleet, and top-notch instructors. As of 2016, All Star has developed 120,000 new drivers nationwide and continues to teach students every year.
