Indigenous Motivational Speaker Carlin D Nordstrom

Carlin Nordstrom is a member of th Poundmaker Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. He is a former professional hockey player who attended the Ottawa Senators camp in 1999 playing 2 games. He has been empowering youth and communities over the past two years with his inspiring story of overcoming adversity as a minority in a non-indigenous community. He was under-sized with marginal talent but formulated a plan to make it from the Warman Minor hockey system to NCAA Division 1 hockey; the A.H.L., I.H.L., and eventually N.H.L. Level. He has spoken at several major conferences and at communities across Western Canada inspiring both youth and adults.
