The urinalysis test measures elements found in urine, such as hormones, electrolytes, and waste products formed during metabolism. It is also known as urine test and includes various tests to measure various components passing through urine. This test assists pathologists and clinicians to identify problems that require treatment such kidney problem and infection. The urine test is bifurcated into three parts namely visual examination, microscopic examination, and dipstick test. This is a routine medical checkup, pre-surgery precreation, pregnancy check-up, or hospital admission checkup for various disorders. These disorders include kidney disorders, liver problems, urinary tract infections, diabetes, or other metabolic conditions. In some cases, clinicians recommend for additional screening and tests to further examine findings of urine tests or specific features of core problems. For instance, urinary tract infections is identified by urinalysis, while the urine culture is identified by follow-up test to spot the bacteria that may be responsible for the infection.
