Registration is now available for ZooSnooze overnight campouts at the Elmwood Park Zoo. As a family-friendly environment that hosts numerous activities for children to get up close and personal with the beautiful zoo animals, the zoo has begun uniquely-themed sleepover events for campers of all ages. From June through October, the campout will be held on one Friday per month.

With the arrival of the spring season, the Treetop Adventures park at Elmwood Park Zoo has opened and features obstacle courses and zip lines. For a unique experience, the zoo has recently announced the first Night Adventure in the Treetop Zoofari. Beginning at 7 pm, the Night Adventure on Friday, May 22 is available for Elmwood Park Zoo members only, while Saturday, May 23 is open to the public.

As the weather becomes warmer and families are looking for outdoor activities, Elmwood Park Zoo is announcing the opportunity for guests to make reservations at their outdoor zip line and adventure theme park this spring. With additional courses and unique adventures, their Treetop Adventures is owned and operated by the Elmwood Park Zoo and located in its trees where guests can zip line over animal exhibits.

With the spring season on the horizon, Easter Sunday is right around the corner. Kids and families will be preparing for the holiday throughout the month, and the Elmwood Park Zoo is happy to announce their Easter Bunny brunch and egg hunt that provides fun for the whole family. Join the Elmwood Park Zoo family as they will host a brunch the weekend of March 28, as well as Easter weekend, including Easter Sunday. The event is open to the entire community as non-members are encouraged to take part in the unique event.

With Valentine's Day approaching, parents are looking for babysitters and activities for their kids in order to enjoy the romantic holiday together. This year, to help couples take the night off, the Elmwood Park Zoo is announcing their Valentine's Kids Night at the Zoo for children ages 6 through 10. On Saturday, February 14, 2015, couples can drop the kids off at the Zoo starting at 5:30 pm. The event runs until 11 pm, though parents are permitted to pick their children up any time after 8 pm.

Elmwood Park Zoo has kicked off its Winter Care Appeal, an annual fundraiser that aims to support the non-profit organization at a time of the year when revenue is at its lowest. As one of the primary locations for things to do in Bucks County, PA, the Elmwood Park Zoo relies on admission and concession income to fund the caretaking of the hundreds of rare and endangered animals in its collection. Winter's inclement weather negatively impacts the Zoo's attendance and thus directly affects the Zoo's purchasing ability. This year's Winter Care Appeal has a fundraising goal of $100,000. The Zoo hopes to raise this money to offset its loss in revenue that would normally go toward animal care and facility maintenance.

In anticipation for Christmas, the Elmwood Park Zoo has gotten into the holiday spirit. Providing holiday bargains that can't be found elsewhere, the zoo is announcing their 12 days of deals. Those who wish to inquire about the deals can visit the website each morning at 9:30 am to see what the zoo is offering on that day. Each deal must be taken advantage of with 24 hours as the deals are valid for one day only. Currently on Day 3, the specials wrap up on December 16.
