With 8 years of directorial experience under his belt, Samuel A. Martin’s work includes commercials, music videos, and more recently, fashion films. Martin’s focus began to shift towards fashion after he shot a 3D stereoscopic feature film in 2011/2012. Now, the director is collaborating with several fashion brands to bring his ideas and concepts to life.

After graduating from New York Film Academy in 2006, Hypno went on to direct over 50 music videos and 150 commercials. Focusing on emotional connection and raw humour, Hypno has made an impact directing innovative and award-winning projects for brands such as Samsung, Geocell, GPI, Pepsi, Oriflame, WWF, and Anim’est.

The La Jolla Fashion Film Festival 2013 was by all accounts a spectacular success.
