If you are interested in Alpenglow there are a couple of things to know in regards to its rental policies. Let's start with the check-in time which begins after 3:00 pm. Guests will need to pick up the keys to their townhome or condo at The Twin Peaks Lodge and Hot Springs lobby. When it's time to check out, the cutoff time is 11:00 am. Checking out later than 11:00 am will come at a cost of $25 for each hour.

Dennis Weaver Memorial Park is open to the public and comprises over fifty acres. It serves as a permanent wildlife preserve and is located near Uncompahgre River, not far from the environmentally friendly RiverSage subdivision. Visitors to the park will find numerous miles of trails that are perfect for hiking or biking and provide vistas of the river and the Colorado mountains.

Ourayce is a 10K event open to people of virtually all ages. Proceeds from the 10K will go towards KURA, a local student-run radio station. Ourayce is the only annual fundraiser run by KURA. For more than a decade and counting, KURA-LP 98.9FM continues to provide business classes for students and a work environment in Ouray School.
