Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs has hosted large-scale events in the past, including events with over 700 people. The hotel is popular for hosting weddings, tours, family reunions, birthday celebrations, and plenty more.

Held every year, the Ouray Ice Festival will take place at Ouray Ice Park. Now its 22nd year, the festival is open to ice climbing professionals as well as those looking to try the experience for the very first time. More than ninety unique clinics are scheduled for the festival, each designed to appeal to ice climbers of various skill levels. Attendees will also find several retailers selling various ice climbing gear, accessories, and apparel. Guests should be aware that dogs are the only type of pet accepted at Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs and they will be required to stay in one of the rooms that are designed for guests staying with their pets. As a result, guests checking in with pets will not be allowed to stay in one of the suites or condominiums. A maximum of two pets are allowed to stay in the rooms.

Guests of Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs can start their day by enjoying a complimentary hot breakfast and for just two dollars more they can also dine on a chef prepared omelet. Guests that would prefer to relax in their room will find flat screen televisions with up to 140 channels, including premium cable networks like HBO. High speed Internet is also offered to guests at no additional cost.

Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs itself functions as a full-service hotel nestled within a setting that includes a mountain backdrop and an always relaxed ambiance. The hotel is near lots of trails that can be used for Jeep excursions, a leisurely walk, hiking or biking. The namesake hot springs are always open and consist of mineral water that will leave guests feeling revitalized yet relaxed.

The hot springs at Twin Peaks come from below the earth and reach the surface at sizzling temperatures of just over 150 degrees Fahrenheit. These springs are then cooled down using cold water. Aside from this cold water, no additional chemicals are added to the hot springs tubs regardless of whether guests opt for the indoor or outdoor one.

The King Room is a quietly elegant 250 square foot room with a view of the mountains from the covered outside entrance and front windows. All King Rooms come with a large king bed, a pair of nightstands, dresser, a mini-fridge, and many additional features.
