Director and screenwriter of ‘Trapped in a Flash’ Ashley Jacoby lives with severe anxiety disorder.  She decided that she needed to help make a change in how mental illnesses are viewed when she noticed herself contributing to the stigma of mental health.  Ashley is now creating a website for mental health awareness using short films to portray people with a mental illness in their average day lives.  The short films will help teach high school students and teachers what it is like to live with a mental illness.
